Custom Audio-Video Systems was established in 1986. Our mission was to provide Consultation, Engineering, Design, Select Products, Installation and Support Services, as well as to guide our clients through the ever changing landscape of electronics, a mission that is still followed and current today.

Our designed electronics systems are engineered for quality, value, ease of use and reliability. Components are chosen based on features and build quality. Our Systems are built to address and provide specific solutions in areas of entertainment, productivity, convenience, communication or security. Drawing on diverse backgrounds in Electronics Engineering  and the Music Entertainment Industry, we provide a leading edge approach  to fulfill our client's needs.

Custom Audio-Video Systems, is operated from our offices located in North Haven, Connecticut. We are a Licensed Professional Full Service Electronics Company providing Low Voltage designs and services from coast to coast. Our Designs are known and recognized to be aesthetically correct, providing the necessary convenience and maintaining electronic integrity. Our Design Services are then supported with Material Procurement, Expert Installation, Hands on Instruction and Final Documentation. Projects may begin Structural, Motif, or directly with Engineering and System Design. 

Theater Designs are tailored with a proprietary acoustic evaluation program. It allows us to size and choose materials to provide a better sounding, final product. Learn more about our Resonant Frequency Program on our Services page.

Our clients are welcomed into a long term relationship that provides a ramp up to understanding fresh, newly installed systems. After the initial sale, we support system modification, additions, upgrades and service. Our office hours vary, and although we welcome walk-ins, we prefer appointments which allow our undivided attention to our clients and their project. 

Our facility is designed to demonstrate, in full working order, many of the product categories we offer. We are proud that the integrity of our designs have kept emergency service in check and equate to revenues below point two percent (0.2%) (2010) of our total yearly income.
